How many times have you been asked, "Why did you NOT send your patient to a medical doctor for chronic back pain?"? Well, I think based on this study the REAL question should be asked to the medical doctor, "Why did you not send this patient to the chiropractor for chronic low back pain before prescribing the medications?" Here is a paper where they looked at lots of older patients suffering with chronic back pain. They wanted to see if patients that went for drugs first had better outcomes than those who had their back adjusted first . . .
