Sex and Intimacy Can Be Destroyed After Trauma

May 2nd 2019

We discuss how as docs treating patients who are hurt, how we can discuss with our patients how this can also affect their relationship with their partner and how they may have to adapt to the "new me".

I feel our role in practice is to improve our patients Quality of Life, and if we do not ask about this, it may go untreated. We ask how their injury affects work and recreation, but are we asking and looking for signs how this injury can be affecting their sex life and relationship??
