Here is a paper where the authors looked at a "loss the cervical curve", degeneration, and how it correlates. The way they fixed it to prevent further degeneration is fusion. As chiropractors this is a structural abnormality, a true subluxation, and I believe we can address this better than almost any other treatment and by doing so we can prevent or decreased degeneration and CNS ISSUES! What's interesting is these authors are realizing and discussing that an abnormal cervical curve influences degeneration and compromise to the cord! Are you diagnosing this and releasing a patient . . .
