Hello Professionally Integrated!
Here is some information form a study back in 2002. I will sometimes use “older” studies to educate patients and whoever else, about the “loss of curve” and how it is not something “new”.
What these authors looked at were asymptomatic patients and WAD, or car crash patients necks and the shapes. What the authors found was significant. I will post a picture below given to me by CBP non profit. Now, this is information to help us understand that a true difference occurs between car crash and symptomatic individuals and asymptomatic individuals. A loss of the curve is a pathology. On this site I have many videos for you to explain what this pathology may lead to and why addressing the sagittal alignment is important for our patients health.
