Dynamic Alignment, Myelopathy,Pain, and Cervical Curve

Here is a complex study that looks at myelopathy in the cervical curve. Many studies I have posted show that abnormal shape and mechanics of the cervical spine will lead to myelopathy. This study looked at quality of life and how abnormal spinal mechanics will decrease quality of life. The authors discuss the imprtance of evaluating the spine through dynamic images. Here is what they had to say "Dynamic elements can magnify the static components of canal deformation by ligamentous and osseous pathology. An already compressed spinal cord can sustain further
damage when exposed to longitudinal cord . . .
