Here is a study where the authors measured the cervical curves in males and females and tested neck strengths. This is a great study to show that patients with a loss of the curve have functional weakness. This can certainly help us explain why we need to increase the patients curve (as well as many other reasons) and include strengthening programs with our care. The authors used the posterior tangent method from Harrison to evaluate the curve. A few thing I do not agree with from the author 1) the literature yields no standard values
