Here is a study where the authors looked at thoracic and cervical deformity, ie change of the sagittal alignment. I put this on here for a few reasons, 1) obviously we are not the only providers to look at the change in the sagittal alignment 2) surgery appears to be appropriate as a treatment method but for some reason insurance companies argue that we are treating too much if over 12 visits. 3) The authors also mention that a change in the sagittal alignment leads to bad health problems.
